A layer filter can be applied when the layer is drawn. This will refine the set of features that will be rendered for the layer.
For a layer that the Weave Administrator has configured to have a filter applied, the user is able to control what which parts of a layer are displayed. This is a first time such user control on a map layer has been provided in Weave.
